Refers to joint pain or joint disease. Symptoms include:

swelling
pain
stiffness
diminished range of motion in joints

I will focus on the effects on the hands and wrists.

The goal of assistive devices is to protect joints from stress and create ease of completion for an activity.

Objective: Create a detachable, assistive handle for kitchen knives, paired with a knife set, in order to assist people with arthritis when cooking and eating.

Project Brief

Create a brand and identity system that provides a service to the user. Belle & Briar Weddings is a wedding planner service business with the mission to create elegant and timeless wedding experiences. The project resulted in a full brand guide and digital mockups.

Design Problem

What is the best way my brand can live in a digital space? How can I make the brand come alive and feel genuine?

Ideation

From initial research, many wedding planner logos were classy and elegant, thus I explored those themes when sketching.

Making

Using a 12 column grid and the curved background I created, I organized and typeset the text in the book. For pages with more text, I utilized 8 columns and with those of less text, I used 6 columns.
